1 Subject of the contract:
1.1 The subject of the contract is from the forwarder's warehouses, which are located in Istanbul (Turkey), St. Guangzhou (China) st. Athens (Greece) and St. in Tbilisi (Georgia), delivered by the user and accepted by the forwarder. Providing freight forwarding services in Tbilisi, which the freight forwarder provides in his own name and at the expense of the customer.

1.2 "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" website www.starling.ge registration is voluntary and the terms of service are public. Using the service means that the user has read and accepted the terms of this agreement.
2.2
2.1 The cost of transportation is calculated based on the actual/volumetric weight of the parcels.
The cost of transporting parcels from Turkey is $2.50 per kg (the weight is calculated by actual weight without rounding, the minimum weight is 100g, the cost of transporting parcels over 10kg purchased from one seller is $1 per kg)
Parcel transportation from Greece is €3 per 1kg (actual weight, without rounding, minimum weight 100g)
From China, parcel shipping is calculated based on actual/volumetric weight
Transportation of a 1 kg parcel is $9.50, and in case of using China express from China, the cost of transporting a 1 kg parcel is $10.50.
The amount is paid at the exchange rate of the Bank of Georgia on the day of payment, at the purchase rate of dollars and euros in GEL.
2.2 The company reserves the right to calculate the transportation fee based on the volumetric weight in case of non-standard size (if any parameter is 51cm or more) dimensional cargo.
2.3 The transportation invoice is sent to the customer after the parcel arrives in Georgia.
2.4 Payment of the transportation service fee is made from the company's website using credit cards and bank transfer (Internet bank).
2.5 The weight value of parcels sent from China is calculated by taking into account the actual and volumetric weight.
2.6 The weight of the parcel is rounded to the nearest 100 (one hundred) grams.
2.7 The customer is obliged to deliver the cargo to the relevant office within 30 days
(thirty) days to pay the transportation fee, otherwise a daily storage fee of 1 (one) GEL will be charged on the invoice.
3. The user is obliged to:
3.1 to fully provide the forwarder with information about the cargo to be sent (cargo category), as well as, when handing over the cargo to the relevant office, to indicate detailed information about the recipient of the cargo (name, surname, personal number, address, phone number, room number), as well as to give instructions necessary for the shipping documents To sign, to provide the necessary information for customs and other actions.
3.2 The user is obliged to indicate the number of the parcel shipment (the so-called tracking code) on the "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" website and declare the product in advance, which means indicating the value of the item, the online store, the sending country and the product category.
3.3 In the presence of dangerous cargo, the customer must warn the forwarder about the exact type of danger and, if necessary, indicate the security measures.
3.4 The cargo, the dangerousness of which was not known by the forwarder, can be unloaded, destroyed or damaged at any time and in any place without incurring the obligation to compensate for the damage.
3.5 The customer is obliged, if the type of cargo requires it, to pack it in accordance with the shipping requirements.
3.6 "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" does not provide additional packaging. In case of fragile cargo, the sender packs the package himself and takes responsibility for its safety.
3.7 STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY reserves the right to open any package to inspect the contents for security reasons.
3.8 The user is obliged to check the contents of the parcel when receiving the parcel at the relevant office. After leaving the office, claims about product damage are no longer considered, and "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" does not accept responsibility for possible damage or loss of products in the parcel.
4. Courier services:
4.1 "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" offers its customers a courier service both in Tbilisi and in the entire territory of Georgia.
4.42 Courier services throughout Tbilisi are provided within 2-3 working days. Regional courier service terms are determined by the relevant schedule. Courier services are not provided on Sundays.
4.3 ONWAY will provide courier services throughout Tbilisi and regions.
Courier service rates throughout Tbilisi are:
Onway tariffs: 1 kg 5 l, 5 kg 6 l, 10 kg 10 l, 20 kg 15 l, 30 kg 20 l, 50 kg 29 l.
Onway tariffs in the regions:
1 kg 6 l, 5 kg 8 l, 10 kg 10 l, 15 kg 17 l,
20 kg 21 l, 30 kg 30 l, 50 kg 40 l,
100 kg 80 l.
4.4 It is not possible to change the address and phone number after activating the courier service.
4.5 Courier service is provided to the address specified by the user when activating the courier service and only once.
4.6 The address of the recipient can be changed from the website only before the activation of the courier service, otherwise the package will not be delivered to the changed address of the recipient.
4.7 It is not allowed to change the address and redirect by calling the office or on the basis of a verbal agreement.
4.8. The courier will not carry the parcel on floors.
5. Conditions for taking out the parcel from the office:
5.1 Upon the arrival of the parcel, the customer is sent information on the location of the parcel at the office, both by SMS and e-mail.
5.2 The branch can be changed on the "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" website, in the settings section. The change will affect the parcels in the warehouse department. The change will not affect the parcels that have already been sent.
6.1 The average duration of transportation from Turkey is 4-6 (four-six) calendar days.
6.2 The average duration of transportation from China is 10-14 (ten-fourteen) calendar days.
6.3 The average duration of transportation from Greece is 6-7 (six-seven) calendar days.
6.4 The schedule of flights for cargo transportation is not fixed, and the company does not take responsibility for flight delays in case of force majeure situations (for example: difficult meteorological conditions, canceled or changed schedules by the airline, etc.), as well as for congestion in airlines related to holidays.
6.5 Company's working schedule from Monday to Friday 10:00 - 19:00
Saturday 10:30-16:00
Sunday off.
7. Customs clearance:
7.1 Declaring the parcel and uploading the corresponding purchase invoice on the website of "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" is mandatory within 24 hours after the parcel is displayed in the warehouse. The customer is fully responsible for the correctness of the information
7.2 The customer is responsible for customs clearance procedures.
7.3 The fee for preparation of customs documentation is 10 (ten) GEL for each declaration.
7.4 In the event that the customs service or the Ministry of Finance imposes a fine on the company "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" due to the complete or partial non-fulfillment of the terms of service by the user (eg: incomplete or inaccurate declaration of products), the company "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" reserves the right The said fine shall be charged to the customer.
8.1 The insurance service can be activated from the package control panel, through the corresponding button. The service cannot be activated or canceled on the tracking codes displayed in the "Arrival" and "En route" sections.
8.2 Under the terms of the insurance service, the company assumes responsibility in case of external damage to the cargo or loss of the parcel after delivery to the warehouse.
8.3 Compensation for damages will be made on the basis of the relevant purchase confirmation document and the review period is an average of 10 (ten) calendar days.
8.5 The Company accepts no responsibility for damage to second-hand products, personal consignments or repaired items.
8.6 The insurance service fee is reflected in the corresponding transportation
in the invoice.
8.7 The insurance fee amounts to: 20l for the item worth up to 100 GEL, 18% for the item worth more than 100 GEL.
9. Products, the transportation of which is prohibited:
9.1 It is prohibited to transport the following types of products:
a) real money, securities, bank cards and banknotes;
b) precious stones, platinum, gold, silver and jewelry made from them;
c) paint and toxic substances;
d) explosive, flammable and other dangerous items;
e) firearms or their parts, stun guns, crossbows and cold weapons;
f) pornographic products;
g) products containing narcotic substances;
h) any kind of flavoring.
i) medical preparations, which according to the legislation of Georgia are issued only by prescription;
j) animals, birds, fish, rodents or their stuffed animals;
k) dairy, meat, fish products or tobacco products.
Additional regulations apply to packages sent from China. Transportation of the following types of products is prohibited:
a) Liquids b) Powder c) Food d) Battery
9.2 "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" does not take responsibility for confiscation of products by the customs in case of sending prohibited products by the customer.
9.3 In the event that the customer still sends the prohibited products through the company "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY", the company does not take responsibility for returning the cargo to the customer or handing over the cargo to the consignee. which is determined by the amount of material damage caused to the company "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY".
9.4 The mentioned list is incomplete and "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY", as a forwarding company, is entitled not to send this or that product to Georgia.
Based on safety norms. The list of products shipped by air is hundreds of pages long, with many exceptions and nuances that are discussed on a case-by-case basis. That is why it is impossible to publish a standard list on the company's website.
9.5 Regarding the import of specific products into the country, the user is obliged to contact the office of "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" and clarify the information both with "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" and with the revenue service.
10.1 These Terms of Service are considered an agreement between the Company and the User. From the moment of presenting the mentioned conditions to the user, by pressing the appropriate "I agree" button on the company's website.
10.2 "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" commits to the client only for the services that are described on the service terms page.
10.3 "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" reserves the right to record and remember customer interaction through all types of Internet, telecommunications or video surveillance systems, including e-mails, chat or phone conversations, Facebook or blog comments, which the company may use to protect its rights. for the purpose of litigation or other disputes with the customer.
10.4 A room number, to which no package is fixed, will be considered inactive and will be canceled after 3 months from its registration.
10.5 User's personal information is protected. The company "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" will not transfer any information about the user to a third party without a court order.
10.6 "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" reserves the right to restrict the service to the customer in case of violation of the terms of the mentioned contract, as well as for offensive actions and/or gross violation of the company's interests.
10.7 "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" reserves the right to change the terms of service delivery or to stop providing the service to the customer, after informing the customer in advance, without agreement with him.
10.8 User name and surname cannot be changed after registration, without appropriate instructions from the company. Instructions include submission of proof of identity to the office or e-mail, etc.
10.9 The text material from the "Frequently Asked Questions Section" and the "Terms of Service" page on the "STARLING TRANSPORT COMPANY" website is an integral part of this Agreement.
10.10 Along with the conditions stipulated in the contract, the rights and obligations of the user and the forwarder are regulated in accordance with the current legislation of Georgia.
